The new name for Yahoo Tools is Yahoo!ACE. Here is the new release.

Yahoo!ACE is an up and coming Yahoo! Messenger companion similar to YTKPro and YTunnel. It is free as long as you donate if you enjoy the software.

Yahoo!ACE is intended for use with Yahoo Messenger 9. Yahoo!ACE is currently compatible with the Yahoo Mesenger 9.0, 8.1, and 8.0.

Features are as follows:

General:

- Ability to intercept all Yahoo Messenger socket communications
- Incredibly fast and lightweight
- Windows 2000, 2003, XP, and Vista support

Chat:

- Packet buffering system to help protect against most boots
- Disable ads
- Disable polygamy
- Disable peer-to-peer

- Captcha integration: the captcha image is displayed right into chat and is submitted via chat send

Voice:

- Voice dominance
it already has voice domination, and it works quite well...When going against someone else with dominance, the two will conflict, and it will go back and forth...The dominance is already built in though...adjust the refresh rate and find a setting that works for you.
- Protocol overwriting: my implementation of voice lag protection
- Ghost audio: allows you to hear people otherwise unable to be heard by playing back their audio with your id
- Lock the Mic
